WYSARA is a dedicated group which provides the adequate training and financial support necessary for missions within the dynamic state of Wyoming. Our partnership with the Wyoming Search and Rescue Council insures the safety and unified assistance to the citizens and visitors of all 23 counties. Our goals are to enhance the agencies that respond in the time of need...so that others may live.
The mission of Wyoming Search and Rescue Association (WYSARA) is to provide the highest quality training to all interested parties in the state of Wyoming. Through this training, WYSARA strives to provide exceptional personnel that are proficient in assisting law enforcement and county SAR units in the event of an emergency.

Who can join: Voting membership in the Wyoming Search and Rescue Association is open to all Wyoming Sheriff’s offices or any other governmental jurisdiction (e.g. National Park) responsible for search and rescue activities within the state of Wyoming. Click here to join.
Associate membership is open to individual search and rescue volunteers who wish to belong to the Association regardless of the status of their county or governmental jurisdiction.
